*Morada corazon*

SAPRISSA vs. ALAJUELA
My first futbol game experience=AMAZING! I went to a soccer game with Kym and Akash. We just bought some general admission tickets and went not really knowing what to expect. Here in Costa Rica futbol is like a second religion, people here love it and take it very seriously. When we got to the game we immediately saw one of our tico friends, Julio, and joined him and his friends. There was definitely no sitting at this game. The fans were crazy...jumping around and constantly singing songs for their team. There was a huge flag that said morada (purple, saprissa's color) and in some of the pics you can see us holding it up. It prolly took about fifty people to hold the length of the flag. There were mostly guys there and I prolly saw only about 3 other girls but its because the area we sat in was so reckless...guys just moshing and police everwhere to break up the fights. When Saprissa came out some of the fans climbed the fence and stood on top of it cheering.GREAT STUFF...haha but the energy was amazing and everyone was so friendly. There was also an old old woman in the mix of things that the fans called abuelita. Apparently she goes to all the games and is always in the middle of the chaos. All in all an amazing time and I hope to go to another game again.
